About the Role:
We are partnering with a prestigious higher education institution to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator on a part-time 12 month FTC basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to work within a dynamic academic environment while contributing to the smooth running of the institution’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
The Finance Administrator will play a crucial role within the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial management. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular reconciliations, including monthly bank reconciliations.
- Raising and processing sales invoices.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks within the finance department.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel: Strong abilities in managing documents, spreadsheets, and financial reports.
- Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy is essential for managing financial records and transactions.
- Independent Working: Capable of prioritising workloads and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong Organisational Skills: Effective time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
